At least 19 killed in Russian attacks across Ukraine
Is the fall of Pokrovsk inevitable? Is Trump losing patience with Putin? At least 19 people have been killed and dozens wounded in Russian drone and missile attacks across Ukraine, according to the country's emergency service. The attack came overnight on Wednesday, as President Volodymyr Zelenskyy was due to arrive in Turkiye, where he hopes to revive talks over ending the war caused by Russia's full-scale invasion two years ago. Effective sanctions and assistance to Ukraine can change this," the president said in a social media post on Wednesday, calling for air defence missile aid from allies.

Poland briefly closes airspace as NATO increases presence in the Baltic Sea
Can Ukraine restore its pre-war borders? Is Russia testing NATO with aerial incursions in Europe? Poland has briefly closed part of its airspace southeast of capital Warsaw, citing "unplanned military activity", as Russia launches a new wave of strikes against Ukraine. The deployment on Sunday of Polish and allied aircraft in the country's airspace comes as the transatlantic security bloc NATO announced that it is upgrading its mission in the Baltic Sea in response to drone incursions in Denmark and reported drone sightings in Norway. In the latest incident, the Polish armed forces said it scrambled aircraft to ensure the security of its airspace after Russia launched strikes on Ukraine.

Drones over Poland: NATO and the EU Seek a Convincing Response to Russian Aggression
Russia has continued to provoke NATO and the EU. The drone incursion into Polish airspace earlier this month has Western leaders scrambling for answers. Putin, meanwhile, has made it clear he won't be backing down any time soon. NATO fighters shot down at least three of more than 20 Russian drones that flew into Polish airspace. German troops monitor the airspace over Ukraine around the clock. Night after night, they see Russian drones deployed across the region, with increasing numbers recently turning up in the western part of the country. On a recent Tuesday night dots began appearing on the troops' radar screens - hardly unusual here in the southeastern corner of Poland at the Rzeszów airport.

Accidental or deliberate? Russia's drone incursion into Poland is a test for Nato
Russia's drone incursion into Poland is a test for Nato Wednesday morning's incursion of Russian drones into Polish airspace led to jets being scrambled, an emergency government meeting being called - and concerns that Europe and Nato's resolve against Moscow may not be up to the test. Poland's Prime Minister Donald Tusk said Polish airspace was violated 19 times and at least three drones were shot down by Warsaw's jets, aided by Dutch F-35s and an Italian early warning aircraft. Russia has pushed back against accusations that the incursion was deliberate - though it also stopped short of denying its drones had trespassed sovereign Polish airspace. No objects on Polish territory were planned to be targeted, Moscow said. But European officials have forcefully batted off suggestions the act may have been unintentional. There is no evidence whatsoever that this amount of drones flew over this route over... Polish territory by accident, Germany's Defence Minister Boris Pistorius said, while his Italian counterpart Guido Crosetto called the overnight events in Poland a deliberate attack with the double aim of provoking and testing.

Here's What to Know About Poland Shooting Down Russian Drones
Here's What to Know About Poland Shooting Down Russian Drones On Wednesday morning, Poland shot down several Russian drones that entered its airspace--a first since Moscow's invasion of Ukraine. The incident disrupted air travel and set the region on edge. Airports closed in Poland after the country's military detected Russian drones in its airspace. Early Wednesday morning, Poland shot down several Russian drones that had violated its airspace during a massive strike against western Ukraine . The Polish military operation, confirmed by Prime Minister Donald Tusk through a social media message in the early morning hours, marks a turning point in Warsaw's involvement in the conflict that has affected the region for more than two and a half years.

Poland downs drones during airspace intrusion as Russia attacks Ukraine
How is Russia replenishing its military? What is a'coalition of the willing'? How China forgot promises and'debts' to Ukraine How are Europe, the US pulling apart on Ukraine? Polish and NATO forces have shot down drones violating the country's airspace during a Russian aerial attack on neighbouring Ukraine. Fighter jets were scrambled early on Wednesday as more than a dozen drones entered Polish airspace, the Polish military said.

Readable Twins of Unreadable Models
Pancerz, Krzysztof, Kulicki, Piotr, Kalisz, Michał, Burda, Andrzej, Stanisławski, Maciej, Sarzyński, Jaromir
Creating responsible artificial intelligence (AI) systems is an important issue in contemporary research and development of works on AI. One of the characteristics of responsible AI systems is their explain-ability. In the paper, we are interested in explainable deep learning (XDL) systems. On the basis of the creation of digital twins of physical objects, we introduce the idea of creating readable twins (in the form of imprecise information flow models) for unreadable deep learning models. The complete procedure for switching from the deep learning model (DLM) to the imprecise information flow model (IIFM) is presented. The proposed approach is illustrated with an example of a deep learning classification model for image recognition of handwritten digits from the MNIST data set.

Associative Knowledge Graphs for Efficient Sequence Storage and Retrieval
Stokłosa, Przemysław, Starzyk, Janusz A., Raif, Paweł, Horzyk, Adrian, Kowalik, Marcin
This paper presents a novel approach for constructing associative knowledge graphs that are highly effective for storing and recognizing sequences. The graph is created by representing overlapping sequences of objects, as tightly connected clusters within the larger graph. Individual objects (represented as nodes) can be a part of multiple sequences or appear repeatedly within a single sequence. To retrieve sequences, we leverage context, providing a subset of objects that triggers an association with the complete sequence. The system's memory capacity is determined by the size of the graph and the density of its connections. We have theoretically derived the relationships between the critical density of the graph and the memory capacity for storing sequences. The critical density is the point beyond which error-free sequence reconstruction becomes impossible. Furthermore, we have developed an efficient algorithm for ordering elements within a sequence. Through extensive experiments with various types of sequences, we have confirmed the validity of these relationships. This approach has potential applications in diverse fields, such as anomaly detection in financial transactions or predicting user behavior based on past actions.
